Good article. As someone who minored in literature, I'm ashamed to say that I've never read any of his works.

I believe his style is a bit of an acquired taste...one that I never fully acquired. I did like the "The Old Man and the Sea"

Hemingway wrote for the common man at the time, a sixth grade education. Sort of like Steinbeck... easy reads of good stories.

I know and I love Steinbeck, but still waiting for the urge to hit, to read anything by Hemingway. It'll happen one of these days.
