...always a Marine.
I'm sitting here in the Hospital with my FIL. He broke his hip the other day...clean off! He didn't want us to call an ambulance because he didn't want to be a pu$$y. "Just get me in a chair and I'll be fine". Tough old SOB. He's doing well with his new titanium hip BTW.

Getting old sucks.
I know a Black Belt is not a Marine.
But ten years of training and a Third Degree later.
I sort of feel that way about being a Martial Artist.
My daughter calls me the Indestructible Ninja - LOL!
Hope your friend has a speedy recovery!:)

I'd like to ask that you please pass along a "get well soon" and "Semper Fi" to your father in law for me.

Thanks Iggy. He's doing great. That whole new hip thing is a miracle. They had him standing on it the very next day. He's already at the rehab center training how not to be a PITA when he comes home. Sorta like boot camp for old people.
