This is my new BUG.
Haven't got to shoot it yet.
Waiting on Wolff springs and a stainless guide rod to arrive.
But dry fire the trigger feels perfect.
It's the new Gen 2 Stainless model -

The new triggers are better. I bought my dad a gen 2 a couple of Christmases ago and the trigger was nice.
I have a gen 1 with over a thousand rounds through it and it ate everything except independence ball ammo. Dont carry it much now but cant part with it.
Hogue makes a GREAT grip for it.

Nice!
Already have an "old" 1st generation, but one like yours is on my extended want list. Do all the LCPs come with those baseplate pinky finger extensions on the mags now? Mine didn't.

My 2010 version had it and the flat one and the one I got for my dad in 2013 had both also.

+1 on this, my gen1 came with both floorplates:)

I wanted one of those so bad, but their not on the "approved" list for CA. I was going over some info once and noticed a announcement that the "Ruger LC380 has been placed back on the roster", I ordered one from our dealer before I realized "LC380" is not "LCP380". Luckly, I sold it to another member and purchased my Kahr P380, for double the price. The wife is so good to me, course we have the 50/50 rule so it actually cost me quadruple the amount.
Everyone says 380 isn't adequate for carry, but it beats a sharp stick!

Every time I see a kahr .380 I want one but I don't carry a .380. Trying to tell myself there is a reason besides I just want one.

Pretty little guns! Had an early hammer model LC9, but sold it for my PM9. It ate most anything.

Yup, it comes with both base plates and a single mag.
Actually shipped as shown in my pic.
Normally I don't like pinky extensions on a gun.
But this little monster is so tiny that I need the extension for a full two finger grip.:2eek:
Even with it my pinky dangles free.
Just got a second extended 7 rounder and I'm still just getting a two finger grip.
This thing is flat and tiny:D
I've got the Hogue hybrid LCP grip too.
But want to shoot it stock and skinny first.
See If I like it that way.
Ordered several boxes of Underwood +P before I got the gun.
The manual is very clear, stating it twice in red, NO +P.
Now I've got the gun in hand I've got to say this gun is so small and light I think Ruger really means it.
No +P for this micro gun.
I'll just run standard pressure flavors Hornady XTP Custom.
Always wanted a derringer or some sort of micro BUG gun.
Can't really explain why.
But these LCPs have been out for a while and have a good reputation.
So a Gen 2 Stainless for $249 out the door (No tax and free shipping) was just too much for me - LOL!
Now I'm just waiting on the Wolff recoil springs and I'll run this baby through the paces.
I'm targeting next weekend to break the puppy in on boxes of Hornady and Remington JHPs.
Wish me luck.
I really want this little bugger to work out for me.

Everyone says 380 isn't adequate for carry, but it beats a sharp stick!
With the best of today's ammo.
Not everyone thinks it's inadequate.
These test results, with flavors of Hornady XTP Custom bullets, did well enough to turn my head.
And this test was performed using a micro gun!

Fire a few mags and I like this micro.
Added the Hogue grip and just got several boxes of various JHPs.
Will squeeze off 200+ rounds tomorrow.;)

I EDC the XTPs because of his testing.

Yup, Yup this is what I'm breaking in my LCP on (sans the Underwood).
Plus 100 rounds of Remington THP JHPs.
Ruger's adamant NO +P and holding the nylon 9 oz gun made me think twice - LOL!:phttp://i1361.photobucket.com/albums/r678/barthunderwood/2016-05-26%2019.48.50_zpshbr8ixdn.jpg

Let me know how the Underwood works out. Been wanting to try those

Update:
200 rounds of various FMJs & JHPs with lots of FTF, FTE & stovepipes.
Really disappointed.http://glocktalk.com/images/smilies/shakehead.gif
Switched back to factory recoil spring and ran just factory 6 rounds mags (3) on next session.
First 100 ran smoother, but still occasional FTF.http://glocktalk.com/images/smilies/upeyes.gif
Second 100 of Hornady XTP JHPs ran clean.http://glocktalk.com/images/smilies/greensupergrin.gif
Maybe the little monster was just having teething pains?
Love the Hogue hybrid grips (very soft shooting).
And was dancing cans all over the place (very accurate - especially for such a small gun!).
I'll try 100 more XTPs tomorrow.
If the little gun can run 200 strait without failures?
Then I'll call it good to go!
BTW The Underwood rounds kick like a mule - LOL!:p
My gun seems to really favor Hornady XTP Custom ammo.
So that's what I'm planning to run.

Finally got my LCP broke in.
Ultra accurate and now reliable on Hornady XTPs.
With the Hogue hybrid grip I can easily shoot 200 rounds.
Got my Gen 2 Stainless for $249 out the door (no tax or shipping).
I'm super impressed with the micro 380.
This thing is a winner!
