I never warmed up to the G19 so yesterday it was hasta- la-bye-bye and this replacement became the younger brother to my W. German P226.

I believe that you made a very wise choice...........................

Couldn't agree more with your choice. Folks who've been around here for a while know I'm a SIG and HK fan [in addition to the four Kahrs I own], and the Glock, not so much.

Congratulations. We sold the like new G19 Gen 4 last weekend, too. I really liked it, but needed the cash to help on the new G43 for Wifey. I have a threaded 9mm conversion barrel from Lone Wolf and all of the extra parts to turn my G23C into a G19, though... and a bunch of magazines.

I had to look up the model and found lots of info... http://www.tactical-life.com/firearms/sig-sauer-m11-a1-9mm-handgun/#twas15-m11-a1-lead

I retired before the USAF switched to the M9's and the M11 would have been a better fit for aviators... nice pistol!

I understand. Got rid of a G26 and purchased another Kahr. I shoot so much better with the Kahr. Considering getting rid of G30S but still trying to figure out if it will be a keeper. I an having hard time with wide grips. Gun has less than 400rds thru it. Maybe I just need to practice more.

I carry my G30S once in a while, but prefer the thinner P40 and P9. I need a new trigger shoe at least for the 30S... have to put a BandAid on my trigger finger to shoot it at the range, though. :)

I hate to admit it but my 2 favorite carry guns are my XDs 4.0 45 and my LC9s Ruger. I do love the Sigs though.

I have had my new Sig M11 A-1 at the range a couple of times in the last week. Shooting a lot just DA followed up with two quick shots getting used to the short reset SA trigger. I passed it to a friend to try, and while waiting, I pulled out my PM9 carry gun. Damn, that little gun at 30' will shoot right with the much bigger Sig. Something about the sweet DA Kahr trigger that allows me very fast, accurate followup shots. That little bugger is a hidden gem and I am confident every time I carry it. Maybe time to sell the Shield that I thought would replace the PM9?

I only own own one glock.
A TALO EXO gen 3 G27.
Switched to a Storm Lake ported 357 barrel.
And loved that gun.
But it started to FTF in all three calibers (9mm/.357 Sig/.40 S&W).
Likely mag issues, so i bought some 10% over strength Wolff mag springs.
But just put it in the safe and it lives there now.
Still love 357 Sig though.
So I just picked up my new carry gun.
A vintage 1995 Sig P229 357.
The gun shoots like a laser and I'm loving my "new to me" classic Sig.
Enjoy Yours!!!
