CW40 Magazine release question

Does anyone know of a stainless mag release that will fit the CW40? My CW is my constant companion, carried IWB, and the steel mag release is rusting. Not enough to impede function, and it does clean up relatively easily. Just thought that a weapon with everything else stainless should have a stainless mag release.

Kahr's website only shows the standard steel one for the CW. Any ideas? Thanks.

There are a couple threads on the subject. Some of the solutions tried were various rust preventatives, froglube, etc. One poster painted it with rustoleum. Another sent it out to be coated. Yet another modified his holster. Thanks. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one having this issue. I apologize for not being more diligent in my searching; I only checked Kahr's site and Midway for replacement parts, never searched for old posts on the forum.

I wonder if Robar would plate one small part? I'll look into options.

Same issue here with rusting. I think I am going to parkerize mine.

Hard nickel plating might be a good approach too.
