thats a new one on me. You might want to call kahr arms and verify that for yourself and then let us know. That is the best way to find out . gun dealers tend to FIB when they don't have a certain guy on stock that you want..

I pulled mine off the shelf this morning when I hung it on my ankle. I just checked and it's still there so all is good.
Do give them a call and find out, seems we all would have heard news like that. That's a pretty major move if it's true.
They aren't getting mine back without alot of major influence or motivation.

Just checked with my inside source at kahr AND THERE IS NO RECALL ON AN OF THE KAHR 45'S.
sounds tome like a delar that couldnot get the product for the buyer and then maybe tried to push another brand in HIS SHOW CASE

Wish I had a good answer for ya, I'd be checking Buds daily or gunbroker. I don't think Buds has any of the black ones or they didn't a couple days ago. They have had the stainless off and on. But don't let that distract you. You got what you want it your head, stick with the plan.
I'll keep my eyes pealed in my internet travels and report any if I stumble onto any.

Here's one but it's at $825 starting with no "Buy Now" price.
Kahr PM4544 PM45 Black & Night Sights : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com (http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=182751879)
And another, but I know nothing about these sites.

If theres one one Davidsons just about any dealer can get that one. Almost all are davidsons dealers, a local ffl could get that one on the way.
Gotta look everything over close on the auction ones, shipping cost, handling cost, extra charge for using a credit card. Get a receiving FFL lined up ahead of time that will accept from another FFL or a private party.
Gotta look it all over and be ready to pounce if there's a good buy now price.
I love it when some idiot bids within 5 or 10 dollars of a buy now price which often times makes the buy now price dissapear and then the game begins, often selling for way more than he could have just bought it for. It's all a game, that I'm sadly not very good at either.

I've only bought one off Gunbroker. I didn't want to start a bidding war and pay more than the Buy Now price, but I did contact the dealer and ask for no CC fee if I used the Buy Now price. He countered with free shipping for the Buy Now deal, so I jumped on that and saved a few more bucks than I would have had he dropped the CC fee.
He just added to the terms free shipping for the Buy Now price. Someone else could have grabbed it then, but I was waiting.
A lot of these listings start with prices within $20 or so of the Buy Now price, so you might as well do that and avoid driving the price higher then that... which is the idea, I guess.
Be sure and use the FFL dealer locater to find one close to you and that doesn't charge too much. You can shop for the dealer, too.
The dealer whose range I use, wanted $50 plus the Instant check fee AND tax on all of that... about $60. I used GunBroker's ffl dealer locater and found one who charged $25 total... out the door. He said that gets people into his shop for more business, which worked with me.
I got my PM4544N with an extra 6-round and a Kahr cap for $825 plus just under 3% CC fee. That was pretty competitive when I was looking. There was one listed here and elsewhere for $775, used, but like new in the box. I told him that was too high, especially when you consider the warranty!
