Well i have put 275 rounds through my new PM9 now and most where white box winchester 115 FMJ and some Speer Lawman 115 FMJ and some
Remington 115 FMJ and then some Winchester PDX1 147 gr HP. So today i go to the range and want to try some differant defense loads out.
My slide keep locking back on the Remington Golden Sabe 124 gr+P HP.
It did ok on Hornady Critical Defense115gr.I looked down in the top and i think the fatter Golden Saber bullet is hitting the slide lock.I emailed
Jason McKeon Gunsmith/Customer Servive at Kahr, told him about it.
I asked if he thought it might be OK to file just a tad off the stop so the fat bullet don't hit it.He said yes but that would void my warranty.I said well how about getting a new stop, he said i could order one.So i ordered a new slide stop. Its $24.20 plus $6 shipping and takes 1-2 weeks to ship.
So if my file job don't work i will just replace it.
If it don't help i can replace the stop and use the other ammo in the Glock 19 as it eats anything and ain't picky.

I had the same issues with golden sabres in my P380. Just didnt want to work. all else works great. If it was mine, I would have jsut passed on the golden sabre round in your PM9, as there are just to many good rounds out there to choose from.

They should have sent you a new slide stop no charge in my opinion . Sounds like you got ahold of the wrong person to...Kahrs are not ammo sensitve but in ur case u know one round that is to. I would thijnk also tha tyou cold have filed a tad off the slide stop lever and not voided your warranty, No doubt you would have voided the slide stop being warranted but sometimes an in house fix is needed on some guns. Anyway, slide stops are a big culprit with alot of semi's. I know Pare replaced 3 of them for me due to not lockign open issues before it ever got right. Kahr replaced my slide stop in my P380 at no charge also and it solved the issues witht he golden sabres also but I stillnever really trusted that round in that gun , so I shoot the corbon powerball . reliability and trust has to ber #1 in a carry gun.
