Both my Brit friends voted "leave", and they are quite happy.

I know one Brit lady, in the States, that immediately went and bought five figures (American) worth of Sterling. I think she said she paid $1.32xyz for it.

Now that's a smart move, as the Brit Pound Sterling has been as high as $1.9x or mostly in the $1.55-$1.65 range. She's banking on a come back, and some profits from her layout. Should also say, she spent half of her intended investment, holding the rest for two weeks to see what happens. If it goes much lower, she'll buy more. If it goes higher.... she'll also buy more. Investment strategy I guess. Timing is everything?

In touch with my Swiss friends... good God Almighty, you'd think the end of the world was neigh.

First, they HATE Donald Trump, worse than any American I've ever met. I got a long email that likened Trump to Mussolini, Stalin, Hitler, you name it. The planets worse bigot, racist. Damn near said he wants to eat babies, cut the fingers off school children and even make the Muslims eat pork. And, I was commanded - yes commanded - not to try to explain or engage them in explanation of Trumps various delinquencies and misdeeds. No schooling. That's that. I always thought the Swiss were so open minded.

Next was Brexit. The end of European Civilization. The end of the English language. And, the end of decent woolen products. The world economy will tank. The fish will tank. Patton will tank!

So what did the Swiss do? Well, folks, my friends informed me they liquidated all their investments, BEFORE the exit vote. Now they've repurchased the same investments for only fractions of a Swiss Franc. In other words, all the doom and gloom got them richer by 20-25 percent literally in days. Sell high, buy low, wait for the rebound.

I'm just wading in the spew of undigested tripe my European friends are vomiting up. The Brits I know are jubilant.
