Hello from North Carolina - Cape Fear region

Good evening Kahr enthusiasts.

I recently relocated to the Cape Fear Region of North Carolina from the anti-gun capitol of the North East - New York. Now that I live among more rational people that have respect for the Second Amendment I thought I would re-enter the world of firearms. I was a frequent shooter ( once per week) of only revolvers years ago when I lived in "Upstate" NY, away from the big cities.

I am intrigued by Kahr's reputation for producing quality firearms and what I hear is a sweet DAO trigger. Being an old revolver guy I am in search of a similar trigger. I plan on renting any Kahr I can get my hands on prior to making a possible purchase of a Kahr K9. Again, the comments about the trigger really intrigue me.

Well thanks for letting me join the group. I am sure I have a lot to learn.

Welcome, hope you find your K9 to play with. They are outstanding pistols. Very minor recoil, and a SWEEEEET trigger.

Hello from Western N.C. K9 is great choice. CM9 is my every day carry in front pocket. Also have CW9 and CW45. All have great triggers. I shoot all of them well and I like the "dot the i" sights.

Wappingers Falls NY. I was working for the DOD as a Civilian Quartermaster at the Stewart Army sub-post at the time. It's farm country in that area, oh and IBM as well. Where were you located?
