A few of my forums did this. A tad frustrating. You should have been emailed a new password to your email account of record on the site. I was only able to get back on after copying the new password and pasting it in the box and checking the little remember me box. your old user name works fine. Try that, see if it works.

Some of us joined forums so long ago the email address on file no longer exists.

I've been having trouble gettin' back in there. When I try to start filling in my email, a damn popup box pops up and blocks it so I can't proceed.

the Colt forum had the same reset, but I got back in there. Apparently some Canadian group bought up a big bunch of forums including several gun ones.

I have had the same problem on a couple of forums. I just registered using a new user name and an alternate e-mail address.

I tried to join one forum and they are so paranoid about gmail I couldn't register at all. I guess that means no one monitors the forum for spam, and they have no anti-spammer user registration tools.

Yup. I'm locked out of one of those Canadian-bought forums. No big deal. "f"em. I'm just as glad to be out. Makes me suspicious of their motive for buying the forum anyways. Thanks Kahrtalk for keeping it real.
