Charter Pitbull 45, hit much better, but while centered, still 3 inches high at 7 yards. That would be about... .130 inches needed to be put on the front sight. Next time, I'll be at it with 185 fast 45's rather than 230 slow 45's. That should bring the poi down a bit.
Serbu Super Shorty - kid at the range says, sure you can shoot it here. So I did. Had a few failures to extract/eject with old mixed target loads. New Federal target loads were 100 percent. The old ones were WW Dove and Quail, which some folks will report issues with (not the best rims). Two folks at the range got one shot each, and put it down. I ended up putting 48 shots through it, and except for maybe four failures on extract/eject, after that it ran perfecto. I find I can hit with it, if I aim a good deal lower than I expect the shot to go. Aim at the BG's balls, it'll catch him in the chest at 7 yards.
The Walther PPQ 45 (M2) got its first real workout. Had at least six failures in the first six magazines. Failure to extract/eject. After that, the remaining of the 200 rounds went through like buttah. I was shooting it at 15 yards, and shots were a bit left, and high (sound familiar?). But the group was nice and tight, totalling maybe 7x9 inches, including fliers, and discarding fliers, could fit in an index card.
One other shooter tried the Walther with her ammo, and couldn't hit jack with it.
Lighting is the key on indoor shooting I'm finding out.
