In new to firearms and did a bunch or looking around online and I keep running into kahr handguns. All good except for the trigger. Since I'm new I think it could be something I could easily adapt to. But problem is the only gun I have shot it the full size m&p. It was used for my cc class. 250 round's and crap load of dry fire. Anyways. Went to kahr Web site and said mega sports had a gun to test fire or rent. Drove about an hour to find out they don't have any to shot. So went home. Went back on Web site and called 3 more places on their site and none had gun, even know they were listed on kahr Web site that they do. So I called kahr and they were just like oh well. That the dealers just request to be on it. But they don't do anything about it if they don't. So basically kahr is letting dealers say they have it to get more foot traffic there. I'm a bit disappointed. Anyone have anywhere near Kankakee Illinois area that have and rent kahr handguns.

Johnny5:

I hope you find a place to try out the Kahr trigger. I was lucky that about 40 miles from my home was a range that had exactly the gun I wanted to try. I was SOLD. But almost all of the Kahrs have the same trigger, so 'try one, you've [almost] tried them all.'

My PM45 has a long smooth pull. I've shot a Smith 638 and a Charter Arms Bullpup lately and have to say my Kahr is smoother and easier to shoot for me. I'm sorry you can't find anything close to shoot because it's a great trigger.
