I have seen some posts with folks asking about how many T9's have been made. Mine was made new in the last month and has serial number 1536. So, if they were introduced in 2002, that is just over a hundred a year. Just posting for general knowledge. I have only had it out once... need to go again soon. It looks so sad just sitting there.:(

What is the alpha prefix in the serial number? Mine is "PO". I think you are correct, that only a few are made each year, making it a great addition to anyone's "Kahr Kollection".

Mine is PA. Perhaps each configuration type has its own range of serial numbers... night sights, bar dot sights, etc.

Oh no... mistyped! My prefix is also PA. :blushing:
Those are MMC target sights, one of three options when my early T9 was produced.
Without a doubt, the T9 is the most elegant of all the Kahr pistols.
It always reminded me of the overall lines of the S&W Model 39, which I always found to be a comfy shooter and an excellent pointer of a pistol.

I carried a 59 for many years. The 39 would have been a better choice for my hand size but I never got around to getting one. My uncle had one that I tried hard to get from him just a few years ago before he passed. He'd promised it to his son in law.
Thing was absolutely mint, like hardly ever out of the box. Wanted it pretty bad but I guess I'm over it now.

Mine...has serial number 1536.
I just picked up PA1502 today. If this thing shoots anywhere near as nice as it looks...we have a winner. :third:
I've owned 9 or 10 Kahr's over the years. Still have my P9, P45, PM45 and K9 as well. This seems to be a great addition...

The piece will not lock back on an empty magazine, and the slide lock lever rotates on the post. Not sure if that is normal or not?
The spring is hanging up on the trigger bar...just not a very Kahr like trigger pull.
Kahr issued an RMA and sent me a FedEx label. My expereince with them tells me they will get this right...
Oh...it shoots to POA like a boss... :laser:

Have had similar issue on two Kahrs. On my MK40 it was the slide stop. The protrusion on the slide stop that catches the magazine follower was too short so the follower would not catch it to push it up far enough to lock the slide. Had to replace the slide stop.
On the other one, a Kahr T9 one magazine was the issue. I replaced the magazine follower and that fixed it. Make sure to stomp on/hammer and throw away the old follower.
Slide stop is #27 on the Kahr part diagram. The mag follower has a small piece of metal were it catches the slide stop.

I don't suspect the magazines...they functioned perfectly in my K9...
Does your Slide Stop Lever spin on the Slide Stop Pin, or it is firmly attached to the Lever like on your MK40?

The slide stop lever spinning is not a factor. Some models spin, some don't. It's perfectly normal.
