After carrying my CW9 for a few years and then giving it to the better half to carry I found the need to replace the comfort I had with the CW. Just not comfortable with the HK VP40 I've been touting around for the last several months. So, went online and purchased the P9 for $550 shipped. Hope she's as dependable as the CW.

Man ....
I REALLY like my PM9. Yet, ... I hear the Siren song of a P9.
I guess that Kahrs for concealed carry are like potato chips ...

You got a good deal too. You'll like it. The P9 is my favorite.

2100 rounds of jacketed ammo through my P9 and I love it! Do check your magazine feed lips for burrs. That was the reason during break-in that I had problems with FTF and FTC. After deburring my magazine feed lips, cycling went 100% reliable. That was the only thing I had to correct. I think you and I picked a winner!

I haven't had the chance to fondle one yet, but I saw one in an LGS case. Actually, it looked like the perfect size firearm.

Get one of these steel flush base plate kits for the carry magazine. The flush fitting magazine should shorten the height of your new P9 almost a quarter inch from the stock plastic base plate which is pretty ugly, IMO.

I haven't had the chance to fondle one yet, . . .
I chuckled at your use of the word "fondle". I use the term "touchy feely" like: Let's go over to Cabela's and do the touchy feely!

Congrats! The P9 replaced my K9 and my PM9... and my P40 until I feel it's reliable again. :)
If you go with the flat metal base plate, you may want an O-ring to fill the space and prevent nips. My P40 really had a bite until I added the O-ring and I added one to the P9 as a precaution.

As I did with the P40, I put an O-ring on the magazine with the metal base plate to stop pinching. I haven't fired the P9 with the metal one, but the 3/32" thick by 3/4" inner diameter O-ring fits and doesn't cause binding or loosening of the lockup of the magazine, so I'll go ahead with the O-ring without trying for a pinch.

Below there's a 1/8" O-ring on the lower mag that was too fat... impeded magazine latching. The upper with the 3/32" was just right.

Thank goodness for the forums cause they are extremely valuable. I really appreciate the help everyone and will look into the base plates and O-rings needed for a flush fit. I really liked the CW and other then the slide stop spring going south, it has been ultra reliable over the years. Thus picking up the P9 was a no brainer. Again, thanks everyone for the input. It's truly appreciated. Here's two pics out the box after picking her up today.

So, took the P9 to the range today. Didn't have much time with running errands but was able to clear 120 rounds through the pipe. Not a single hitch. Ran just as good as my CW9. Very happy with another Kahr product. When I cleaned it the other day I did notice the burs some have said on the side of the feed ramp but until there's a problem (hoping of course not) then I'm not polishing. It fed hollows and FMJ of Magtech and Hornady. That's all for now. Thanks again to everyone who chimed in. The help is appreciated.

That's the spittin' image of the one I got. BTW, if you look closely at the foam padding around the magazines, you'll find a slot cut for a third magazine if you remove the cutout. I added another magazine to that slot.
