I asked MagGuts (Corso Inc.) www.http://magguts.com if they plan to produce one of their extra round kits for the standard 6-round magazine. They replied "yes, they are working on it" and would let me know when it is ready. I do not have a time frame at this point. Has anyone used any of their other mag extension kits, and if so, how did it operate?

My CW380 6 rounders both have the Magguts +1 internals

They have been flawless in my S&W Shield 9mm.

I have two of them for my CW380, and they work fine. I am working on a follower for the .380 that uses a new, durable spring, aids feeding and round retention like our other followers, and allows an extra round in the magazine without the complexity of the Magguts setup.

Definitely worth the purchase. My maggut follower eliminated the problem of the last round failing to lock open the slide on my p380. I wish they made on for the pm45!

That would be so awesome, if it uses the factory base plate,

I contacted this company via email and asked if they would make this product for the PM 9 and they said they are considering it, so send them a noted with the request seems a more affordable option to the Lakeline products which seem very well made but pricey

Was going to buy the Mag Guts kits for my CW380 mags, but when I saw that Alphonse was working on a follower for the CW380.... I'd MUCH rather have a Lakeline product for something I'm going to trust with my life. Perfect is a good thing.

Since we don't have any competitive products, I don't see how you make that conclusion. Our followers cost less than most Magguts kits.
On the 380s, I do have a design with a follower and spring, that I can sell for the same price as the Magguts (Al). It feeds superbly and retains the top round better than the other guys or the factory parts.
However, I haven't been able to do that and get the extra round. So, I have it on indefinite hold for now.

Thanks Ed! But, I haven't been able to improve the feeding, round retention, etc. over Magguts AND get the extra round. So, I have put it on hold.
