I bought my second cw 380, I have one here in CT, and one for carry for my Florida home. I used up about 100 rounds I bought 2 years ago at a gun show in Florida. Almost no problems other than not wanting to stay back after the last round. That happened twice. But I want to run another 100 through it, what do you guys recommend for practice ammo for this cw.. I just looked , I have stored away some boxes of PMC Bronze... Is that a good brand for the cw 380 ?

PMC is great. Stay away from Fiocchi FMJ, For carry, anything with XTP bullet works well.

For range ammo, look no further than Freedom Munitions (sometimes out of stock so you have to check often) Solid ammo and out of over 5000 rounds in various guns with only 2 malfunctions due to a bad primer. For carry/ self defense Precision One with HP/XTP bullet. Very good in many tests and reasonably priced. Another option is the Fiocchi Extreema with the XTP bullet. XTPs just seem to work best in the 380 caliber.

My CW 380 did like American Eagle 95g FMJ during the first 50 rounds. I got several failures to feed with that AE. During the its first 100 rounds I used 50 rounds of Lawman 95g FMJ without a single failure to feed. (I was alternating between AE and Lawman). I plan to try American Eagle again next range session as I suspect it will feed okay now. Always had good luck with AE in any caliber I've tried.
I tested GECO 95g FMJ a few days ago and thought I'd screwed something up the last time I cleaned it. I had failures to eject nearly 75% of the time. After struggling with those, maybe 20 rounds, I switched back to Lawman and had 100% function for about 20 rounds. Then, figuring I'd "fixed whatever was broken" I tried the GECO again. Nope - failures to eject with jams resulting.
I have never had a pistol as finicky as this one with practice ammo. On the other hand, it functions (about 50 rounds so far) 100% with Fiocchi 90c XTP "Extrema". I've decided that's my carry load, but I still want to put another 50 rounds of FMJ-something through it before I pronounce it good to carry. So my experience with my gun might not apply at all to yours; mine is the first I've seen that does not function 100% with American Eagle.
