I recently returned my P9 for service. I bent the slide stop spring and CS recommended I return it for updating and repair. They received the gun on a Monday fixed it, and shipped it back to me Tuesday. Simple repair---replace the old style plastic retainer with a Torx screw, and replace the spring. Still impressive.

My CW380, after 400 rounds of break-in, was still not 100% reliable. It would fail to feed and not lock the slide back on an empty round. The last straw was when it launched my slide stop, bouncing it off the shooting lane partition. If that had happened outside, I might not have found the part. I returned it to Kahr. Same deal---I shipped on Friday, they received it on Monday, and shipped it back to me on Tuesday. Repair invoice shows they polished the feed ramp, replaced the slide stop, recoil spring, slide stop spring, and the extractor spring. It worked very well when I shot it on Friday---ran 50 rounds of WWB and one FTF, but ran 20 rounds of Remington Personal Defense without a bobble.

Ian Burr at Kahr has been outstanding to deal with. He returns emails, paid for shipping both ways on my two pistols, and has been a generally nice and professional person. All the horror stories about Kahr CS are not true in my experience. I hope every gun company I deal with is as good.

Life's a mirror Mike. I suspect you treated Kahr very well and got treated well in return. I'd buy you a beer anytime. Thanks for the good report.
