Just fired first 100 break-in rounds thru new MK9. Gun ran flawlessly. I noted a perfect primer strike, but with a light mark extending from center-primer to primer pocket edge; looking like a tiny knife-blade mark. Hornady & Winchester 124gr factory. Also, I noted the barrel (with slide locked open) moves easily back & forth a bit, something I did not notice fresh out of the box.
As I am new to Kahr, I wonder if all this is normal?
ps.. Gun thoroughly prepped, per Kahr Technical instruction.
Thanks.

All perfectly normal. I think the primer deal is actually pictured in the manual.
I call it primer smear, striker hits and then kind of moves across before the casing is ejected. All good.
Out of lock up the barrel will wiggle all over the place.
No worries, keep shooting.

Yep, right there on p 23, which I overlooked. All looks good, ready to burn more powder.
Very pleased with light recoil & performance; cycling & accuracy.
Thanks very much.
Yup. Striker spring holds the striker more or less forward, until its reset by the slide cycling, no biggie, and some ammo may exhibit more, or less of that smearing
