Hey all,
Put my first 100 rounds of WWB 115 g thru my new CW9 yesterday. Here are my observations.

No failures of any kind

Trigger is impressive

Enjoyable to shoot. Not too snappy

Overall I love it.

I had an issue with the factory 7 round magazine. It was stiff but manageable. After loading about 3 rounds I noticed my round was wedged/stuck and the next round basically dropped into the magazine. I pounded the mag against my palm to dislodge the stuck round and started over. Started over and the same thing happened. Cleared the jammed round and took the mag apart. The spring was installed correctly from the factory. I put the mag back together and proceeded to load without any issues. Only time will tell if I actually "fixed" anything.

Has anyone else had this type of issue? Suggestions

That backwards mag spring thing is pretty rare nowadays. Good catch. You should be good to go now.

On the seven rounder that came with mine, the follower would hang on the slot the mag release fits in. I noticed it before taking it to the range for the first time. I sanded the follower where it was catching and haven't had any issues since.

My CW45 is used so I can not speak for the past owner or how the gun was treated, but I noticed the metal tip in the magazine follower had walked out enough to catch on the magazine body not allowing the follower to retract - only allowing one round to be loaded.

Leatherman pliers paused the metal tab back in to the follower and now I can load all rounds.

I kept both my 7rd factory mags fully loaded for at least 3 weeks straight after I got my CW9 last month. Let that mag spring break in for awhile. I'm up to 325 flawless rds with all kinds of mixed ammo.
