Looking forward to learning more about my CM9. Already noted the lube diagram and proper prep stickies. Can't wait to clean it up/prep it, and take it to the range this weekend. Thanks ya'll! :cheer2:

Welcome. You got one dandy self defense pistol there MS_CM9. It should serve you well.
CM9 is my every day pocket carry. Perfect for "my :)" pockets. I liked the CW 380,but it was actually a little too small.

Thanks all. I did the prep work and lube last night. I've racked it 1200+ times. It's still a bit stuff, but is way better than out of the box. Will hopefully take it to the range this Sunday for the intiial 200 FMJ break in rounds. Then clean, lube, racking, etc. again before putting some more FMJ and also some JHPs through it to work out any kinks.

1200 ---- holy crap! I can't count past 30 (public schools). Sounds like shooting is all you need from here. Followed but a good clean and lube and more shooting! :D

I've racked it 1200+ times.
Wow! You might need a new recoil spring before you take the first shot. :D That's dedication. I hope you have a great experience with it at the range.

Initial break-in shoot went extremely well. 200 rounds Federal 115-gr FMJ. Except for one failure to feed, the gun, ammo and magazines (standard 6, and 8 with grip extension) worked like a charm. Failure was my fault - it was the one time I tried racking the slide to put one in the pipe then adding a replacement round into the mag and reinserting the mag. Something I did in the process was wrong so when I fired the first round that was in the chamber, the top round in the mag stuck without the nose rising up the ramp into chamber. Anyways, again a great shoot. The racking is STILL a pain, but more cleaning, racking and shooting should clear that up over time. I used the slide stop release mainly. I was firing just to get a feel and for break-in, so was just using paper plates from 7 yards. The Bar Dot sights will take some time to get used to. Shoot low if I simply "level off" the front and rear sites and place the targeted spot on top of the dot. I did go out and order a LuLu speed loader when I got home - after 200 rounds (especially the 8-rounder mag), my thumb was a bit pooped.

Great to hear. I assume you are pleased? My break in was similar, and I was very pleased!

Yep. I'm convinced the CM9 is a great EDC all things considered. I've carried a handful of different pistols and revolvers but my PM9 has clearly taken first place in the rotation. Suitable caliber, thin and easy to conceal, and weight like it's not even there. Glad you are happy.
