Going to the Oaks Gun show this weekend

This show has gotten so big, it is really impossible to walk the whole floor in 1 day.

Years ago I'd round up my few good freinds and we would spend the day at the gun show.
Often we would bring whatever cash we could afford looking for deals.
Small independent dealers abounded willing to make deals on a variaty of new and used weapons.
Then we would all go to someones house, have a big BBQ and drink some cold ones.
Good Times :D

Seems like the shows I've been to of late are just large dealers with retail prices.
I've stopped going completely...

Yep, the shows years ago were akin to swap meets - much fun! Haven't been to a gun show in years.

Conflicted with the boat show in Annapolis. I would have liked to look at shotguns. There will be another before Christmas I'm sure.
