Police Trade PM9

LGS is advertising PM9 police trades with night sights for $399. Price is attractive but what are the watch outs for police trades?

Never heard of PM9 police trade ins. Lots of K9's especially with New York.

I suspect they were officer purchased. Have to look them over if possible just to check for cosmetics and abuse. Most police guns are carried a lot and shot very little. Very difficult to tell really on Kahrs as even after a bunch of rounds they don't really show it.

I would look for all the usual things for any used gun purchase (overall condition, smoothness, cleanliness, etc). But I would also look for police department markings which are to be expected on a police gun.
