Funny they don't say what it's supposed to be good for.

Maybe those supplements help prevent limp wristing. That at least would put firearm content into it. :o

Or, maybe those are the long promised Gen 2 Kahrs.

R they serious???? That cheapens their brand.

At the very least! What next, disposable diapers? Gourmet coffee? What a load of insanity.

Remember CompUSA? Mismanaged to the core when it got too big for its own good.

The last remaining CompUSA store here, before it folded, was selling a few computers, a few phones, a few cameras and TVs, and living room furniture, bedroom suites, cookware, appliances, and bathroom fixtures.

This seems awfully familiar territory

I wondered if Kahr's website got hacked.

It's fer real. When I was at the Tommy Gun Store (Kahr's new PA location), they had a shelf in one aisle with this stuff on it.

And no, I didn't ask why. My guess is that the owners use it, and became a dealer to get it cheaper. Really nice folks in that place...

I just got an email reply:

Hello John,

Thank you for your email!
I am happy to say that our website was not hacked.
I know it isn't the usual thing to see with a firearms company, but we care
for our customers that they can even stay healthy and safe.
Let me know if you have any other questions! If you're curious about the
health benefits some the supplements, I recommend researching them. They
are really helpful in lots of ways.
Hope you have a great day!

Kind regards,
Christina Ellanson

Funny that even the seller won't tell you what it's for. No one wants to make an unsubstantiated claim and get sued when it doesn't work.

What a poor business decision.

Things were tough enough when people thought Kahr was part of Rev. Moon's Unification Church, now this.

Funny it didn't strike me good or bad, one way or the other. First I've heard of it but it don't bother me much.

Buy the guns, leave the PED's behind I reckon.

Why am I getting this sort of "Blade Runner" Asian societal undertow sort of vibe here. This is not from Yankee minds sez me. Sort of like it should be next to the cash register at a Sushi bar, or Ramen kioske.

Some people are getting very interested in Herbal cures and Meds.
You may thing it nuts, but many worldwide think that Big Pharma are the crazy ones

True. It's just jarring to see guns and herbal meds on the same website. It's like going to the grocery store and finding, say, a pet adoption department. Nothing wrong with it, but wtf.

Having visited Kahr, this all makes me chuckle a bit.

If you are in the aisle where they have the shelf with these supplements, the more "potent pills" are right across from them. Hornady hollowpoints - in bulk cases.

Next is the coffee bar - and it's a nice one! Lots of kinds and flavors of java for you to enjoy while taking in the whole experience. All kinds of snacks and foods available too - some healthy, some not so much (donuts!). They have reading material like guns mags and brochures galore. I got the distinct impression it was set up to be a pro-2A visitor's dream come true kinda place.

Starts to make more sense, actually. Pick out your favorite new purchase, gather up some accessories for it, grab a cup of coffee and some munchies. Sit around the lounge type setting and discuss things with your buddies. Not all that different from here!

Pretty sure it's a "These are a few of our favorite things - hope you like 'em" kind of thing. One doesn't expect to see a thread about guitars on a gun forum, but it's all about the things we enjoy.

Quoting hickok45.........."Life is good."

I guess, if you can buy a firearm, some ammo, shrink your prostate, have some coffee and a doughnut, it's sounding more like my kind of place.:p

I think we should see if we can get a group buy on this stuff:

Japanese Bushy Knotweed Power
Sounds like it might just do the trick!

The new retail store has all kinds of survival and prepping items for sale, well beyond just Kahr guns and gear. This is a new venture for Kahr by expanding out into that market. I would not be surprised to see some of the merchandise spread over to the online site as well. I am told it is a really cool shop.

Survival and prepping items make more sense. I wonder why they didn't put those on the web site before the supplements.

It seems to me that tourniquets and bandages might be a better fit than the health pills

I totally agree. We have a first aid kit that we make sure is with us whenever we shoot at gravel pits, natural berm areas etc.

We normally keep the kit in the truck and only take it out is we go in someone else's vehicle to a non range shooting area!

I wonder if they are going to eventually include Viagra for guns? I have an air rifle that suffers from barrel "droop".:p

Actually, one of the board members found that Justin Moon is on a health food/supplement program and being the butt kisser he is, expanded the site to include the stuff.

Don't worry, after they find they just opened themselves to inspections from the Food and Drug Administration, they will remove said items, and recommending board member, rather quickly. :D
