Looks like they listened at last. Look good.
I think I'd still not pass up the Lakeline but the new ones should be an improvement.

my lakelines have been getting stuck inside my mag not allowing my ammo to feed. Still trying to figure it out with the guys at lakeline and hope to do so very soon here but these might be the ticket in the future so we don't have to buy an extra product just to make them work. I like lakelines but at $20 a pop and my current experience with them I'm not too happy with them. I'm not giving up though and want to find what is causing my lakeline followers to hang up inside my mag.

I'm sure Al wants to figure out whats going on with you as well. The man is loaded with integrity and he would not be happy putting out something that doesn't work perfect.
Let him know whats going on so if needed he can make adjustments.

Thanks Colonel! He and I messaged this morning. It may be gunk in the magazine. It may be that I shipped him .40 followers (they are only 0.020" different) by mistake. We'll get it sorted though.

Just ordered three of your followers Alfonse! I called Kahr tech support yesterday to talk to them about the updated followers. They claim there is no such thing??????? So, with that information, I went to the Lakeline sight and ordered yours.

My CM9 OEM followers looked like the so called updated ones. One was older that came with the gun and two were recent purchases. The slide lock function was weak on all 3.
I received my Lakeline followers today and installed them. The slide lock function is very good. The followers move up and down in the mag bodies very smoothly. The top round presents itself in the correct orientation and the feeding is very good. After running the mags there were no marks on the followers. These followers are an excellent upgrade for Khar mags. I highly recommend them to any one with a Khar 9mm.
Thanks Alfonse for a great product and very fast shipping.
Billy
The performance of both my CW45 and CW9 were improved by the Lakeland followers. My CM9 feeds everything.

Lakeline gang, lets work on getting this correct hmmm?
I can just picture a guy like me surfing the interweb looking for Lakeland and finding a real estate company in the great lakes area.
Carry on.

As a matter of fact, a Lakeland realty co. is about 20 minutes away from me:p

I had the same problem with a couple of my Lakeline followers. I used a handle of a plastic toothbrush to push the follower up and down in an empty mag. Mine were getting hung up on the mag release hole. I then used a small fine file to soften the edges were they were getting hung up. It remedied the problem and have been flawless ever since. I also want to add that it didn't happen on all my mags, just those 2. So I'm guessing it was not necessarily a follower problem, it sure could of been a mag body out of spec. I also want to add that all the mags I used were new factory mags, not used.

What caliber did you get the followers for? I have the Lakeline for my 9s but they do not make 45 or 380 so I would jump on replacing the old followers for those calibers.
Just got a couple of new mags last week, and they have the same "flat" looking followers as in kiki's pics. They are MK620 mags (9mm).
Haven't done much but clean them so far. I won't carry them until I test them out at the range, but they appear to function OK...

I tested my new Lakeline followers in my K9 today and they work great! In full disclosure, I also installed 5% stronger Wolf Mag springs and a slightly heavier recoil spring - but the whole combination works like a dream!!

Forgot I got a 9 now, I best get me some Lakeline stuff for it. It's the right thing to do.

I just can not for the life of me figure out why firearm manufactures make different mags and followers for their 380 and 9mm pistols. My Tri Star C100 uses the same exact mags for 9mm and 40cal. My Hi Point CF-380 uses the same mags as the C9.

Most 9 and 40 mags will interchange in the same brand. We used to carry Beretta 92/96's and the mags would work in either. We of course never did so due to lawyers and liability issues.
I'm sure most 380's and 9's are similar.

Break out a dowel and some sandpaper. It's not difficult to make the old style look like the new style.
And the old style worked just fine in most cases, the new is an improvement but the old style worked.
Apparently the Kahr person didn't know the difference or the person actually packaging it didn't, who can say?

I agree with Bawanna: not only is it not difficult to mod the old style follower, it's less frustrating ;)

...and there's always Lakeline's excellent metal follower: https://lakelinellc.com/shop/metal-magazine-follower-for-9mm-kahr/
