If you look back at history, it happens every time there is an election year. I've been telling everyone for a long time, if you don't want to lose any money, you better get it out of the system before the election. You can always put it back.

Trump compared himself and his movement to Brexit. Just like Brexit, the market tumbled and then rebounded -- Just give it a day or two.

A number of the Hollywood and other "Elites" claimed they were going to move to Canada or Mexico if Trump won. Is anyone taking up a collection to help them? I'd be glad to contribute to a couple of cattle trucks to help them move.

I got access to several pickups and a big truck with my son in law truck driver.

I insist as they cross over that they renounce their citizenship and are not allowed to return. EVER.

The loads might be much smaller if we seize all the material goods they attained via the American way, Hollywood, corrupt politicians and so on. Might be able to just use wheelbarrows as we no doubt should keep their cars too.

Seriously though, the wife & I watched NOTHING of the returns last night - just watched a couple of DVR'd shows, read my Tom Clancy novel, then turned the lights out at 10:30pm.
Turned on the bedroom TV at 6:30am out of mild curiosity to see how badly Trump got whooped, Saw the CNN headline and shouted "Holy sheeeit! Trump won!".

That woke up the wife with a start. :D

I could not believe the news this morning when they said Trump won, thought I must be dreaming.....I just knew the Clinton machine would take it....I said over a year ago that if Trump won I would stand up here and admit that was wrong so here I am and I was wrong but never so happy about being wrong about something as important as this Trump Republican victory......Let's hope he hits the ground running and if he does even half of the things he promised then we will once again be the Great United States of America......Congrats to Mr. Trump and let's get started building that wall and tearing down Obamacare....

Knkali -- if he does what truly needs to be done, we may be in for some rocky times in the short run. Invest cautiously. Let's just hope he can deliver on that 4-6% GDP growth promise. Makin' money cures everything.

I think it was a disappointing choice to close the politics forum, as it kept us engaged.
Turning it back on now, will be a lot less exciting. I believe in the 1st A, but without the 2A it would die fast!
