I don't know about everybody else but I sure do want a secretary of defense named Mad Dog!
If only Curtis E Lemay was still around......

A colorful combat commander and voracious reader, Mattis has been quoted as saying, "Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet."

He's amazing! Over the last 18 months I've read a number of his speeches and articles about him. Below is one...

Just keep in mind sometimes military leaders do not do well in civilian jobs. The military way of thinking is not always the right way. I out to know, spent 23 years in it.

Would he be like having George S. Patton as Sec. of State? I hope so.

As I said earlier. My kinda guy. At the time Ovomit has the military run by a bunch of violets from "academia world". Let's get our military back. (Did anyone notice on the news a while back that a bunch of soldiers were wobbling around in high heels so they could equate with what women have to endure?) Diversity training they called it. I'll bet the Red Army was impressed.

Boy, Isn't that a contrast to what we have now? In a good way. For those that remember the first gulf war its not a whole lot different from what Swartzkof or Powell said at the time.
