Been searching for a hip holster since I bought my cm9 6 months ago. Finnaly found a Blackhawk designed for glock 43. Fits perfect couldn't be happier.
Have been contemplating a kydex OWB holster for my inbound CM9 lately.
I like my Serpa CQC for my Glock 43, so I just got it out and tried my MK9 in it. No kidding - it fits great! Just a bit of extra space lengthwise (at the muzzle), but since the MK9 fits in a lot of holsters that the CM/PM9 fits in, I'm really pleased with this discovery.
You just saved me some serious coin. Thanks, and welcome to the forum! :yo:

I've had a Silent Thunder for my PM45 and my 1911's for many years, never warmed up to them until about a month and half ago.
I always carry the PM45 on my ankle but don't like it there as a primary, too slow to get at so I tried the Garrett again and it works pretty slick.
I got the leather belt loop attachment for my 1911 Garrett and just lace it on and tuck it in rather than undo the snaps so it should last indefinitely. The clips which I liked would occasionally just snap with out warning. Ordered a heavy version but its way too heavy, to stiff to get on or off the belt and my heavy belt doesn't fit it.
I did find I can lace the standard clip on like I'm doing with the leather loops and that works good. That's what I do with the PM45.
I love the Silent Thunder holster, this coming from a guy who just did not get along with IWB but I guess this old dog learned some new tricks.

I really don't get along with IWB well, but when I do, it's a High Noon Centerfold for my MK..................

Good, there are lots of options out there.

This latest holster "adventure" started for me when I ordered a new CM9. These little Kahrs are just so versatile in how you can carry/conceal them. Pocket carry, IWB, OWB - they can do it all well, so I have at least one holster for each method of carry for each weapon.
Compounding things is my "weird" OCD thing about having leather holsters for my all steel/metal pistols, and plastic holsters for plastic framed guns. Makes sense to me, in my twisted mind.
As an example, my MK9 has a Mitch Rosen 5JR-EXP (in Cuban Brown, of course), with a Rosen belt to match. I've really come to love this combo, but can't bring myself to stick a CM9 in it. Enter kydex OWB.
I also have a High Noon IWB, and while the holster is awesome, I too am not the biggest fan of IWB. Plus, it's leather, and will only see the MK9. Bought a kydex IWB off of Amazon for the CM9 - should be fine.
Pocket carry is covered by a leather holster for the MK9, and a Nemesis for the CM9 - good there.
All of which left kydex OWB for the CM9. I prefer forward cant on my OWB's, and most are straight up and down designs. In fact, that's all High Noon makes in kydex OWB, so despite them having 20% off for Black Friday, that's a no go. There's other holster makers that offer adjustable cant, but most are stupid expensive for a slab of plastic.
The Blackhawk Serpa CQC is my preferred holster for my Glock 43, and I've trained a LOT with that combo. Puts my trigger finger where it should be upon drawing, and I do the same with every holster I own. I wear them all at 2:30/3:00, so I'm not reaching anyplace different (except pocket carry).
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

Wow, first I've ever heard of the tupperware holster for tupperware gun and leather for steel concept.
I have a detective at work you'd get along perfectly with. He's OCD too. I'm OCD to a very slight extent. I like organized but I'm not in the same ball park as him.
Don't get the connection myself since the slide is what's gonna wear in both cases.
I generally always prefer leather but I used to be a wood and steel guy with no use for polymer either.
There's some good ones out there. I like the Serpa myself, don't have one for a Kahr but have some for 1911's and a Glock I used to have. Don't use it much now that I'm happy with the Garrett. Mernickle will always cover the OWB days.
So much for willpower. Inbound.....

Best holsters for itw are the kusiak.com holsters. I have 6 of them. I think for the cm9 I got the one for the pm9. I use for g19,g26,pps,cm9,xds,and I think I used the g19 one for a sr9c.
