Daughter evicted a 10# 6.5oz grandson last night about 11pm. He was a bit late and she said she was so glad she didn't know he was so big.
Cute and alert for less than a day old.
Evidence photos
Happy family.

I have to be up front on babies to me. MOST are just ugly little wrinkled up ET's. 3 of the 4 of my grandbabies were just hideous when the where born, though they did get a bit cuter as they got older.
Your grandson is a cutie from the get go! And if you ask my wife, that is VERY high praise!
Congrats on the new addition to the family!

His sister was cute from the start too. He kind of scrunched up his face in the gun pic. I think cause I suggested we start with a nine. Then he threw up a little bit in his mouth.
Good genes I think.

Thank the Lord the grandkiddies got their good looks from grandma & mom!
Has the Washington Huskies football coach offered him yet? He appears big enough to tote that nice 1911 already.
Congratulations to all your growing family.

Hey Bawanna and the rest of the extremely lucky and blessed family………CONGRATULATION!!
We are so happy!!
We assume that everyone is healthy and happy!
My live in Hubby wants to know if the package wasn't evicted but EJECTED (i.e.. 1911! What a great photo)! Lots of power there!…..Mostly in the Mom.
We are always amazed when a PRECIOUS little BABE is born!! The miracle of life is proof that there is a God.

Evicted / Ejected, either way she's extremely happy its done. She mentioned she was very glad she didn't know he was that big before hand. All along they said he was small and a little behind. WRONG.
She was supposed to go home this afternoon but guess he's not eating yet so they want to keep them a bit longer.
Big sister seems to be fine with him, she's pretty good about getting along, I wasn't too worried but one never knows.

Did they play the cupcake guessing the babies sex game on you like they did with the first grand baby? I remember that video.

What a beauty? Congrats, Bawanna. Makes life worth livin', don't it. I will have to admit though that seeing my great grand babies born made me feel a little old.

This time they stuffed a blue grub down a bass's throat over on vacation. Had the whole place stand around while I filleted it revealing the blue grub. Thought it was a pretty different way to do that.

Congrats...................I think it's a shame that your trying to taint that poor babies mind with a 1911:D

Figure it's been the best for over a 100 years, probably still be the best for another 100.
As I mentioned, he threw up a little bit when I mentioned starting out with a 9.

Late to the party but another big congrats to you and yours. Your granddaughter has sure grown a bit since the last pic I've seen. Think Christmas is going to be kind of special for you this year!!

Oh yeah, this will be the first year she really "Gets it". Should be fun to watch.
She's starting to talk and sometimes even makes sense. She can get her messages across better than grandma already.

Grandkids are simply the best. Glad everyone is happy and healthy.
Our newest family member showed up last month. My nephew's newest boy couldn't wait for the doctor. He was born five weeks early, breech with Mom pushing him out in the passenger seat of their SUV while Dad drove 90mph through the construction zone on I-35 in north Fort Worth. In the end, it all worked out and he was home after just six days.
I asked the new Mom and Dad what they thought of all the excitement and they agreed "we could have done without it! "
My brother said "we cant be surprised if this boy grows up to be hell on wheels, after all, he did come into the world butt first at 90mph"...
Hard to argue that.
Glad that your newest came in large but in a more "normal" setting. You and Grandma enjoy them babies Bawanna!

Wait about 6 years or so and get back to us.
I cursed my daughter many years ago. I told her that her children will get along just as well as she and her brother did. She's cursing me now.

Our daughters are ten years apart and they're like Elsa and Ana in Frozen. That kind of breaks our hearts, but what can you do?

Congrats! Lesson 1 - the diaper is always loaded.
Beautiful child & family.
Lesson 2 - Never let the muzzle cover anything you're unwilling to destroy (my wife burped one of our kidlings adjacent to a shirt display in a clothing store . . .)
Lesson 4 - ID your target and what's behind it (one of those late-night/don't-want-to-fully-awaken diaper changes in bed turned into a large, juicy projectile #2 . . .)
