Got my G10 Grips!!!!

Oh BABY! They came in and they are nice. I am grateful that Alfonse has made these grips for the MK series of Kahrs. I can attest that they have very good grip in the hand, but they do NOT grab your clothing which is very important. They are thin, like the stock grips but they have a more substantial feel in the heal of the grip (not sure why, maybe the dimensions are a bit different there). I also used some cool hand luke short 1911 grip screws and they worked flawlessly. I imagine that any short/thin 1911 grip screw will work with the MK series of Kahrs. I am holding off on shooting with the grips on until my TruGlo TFX sights arrive (my wife ordered them for me for my bday). I will give it a thorough workout when I get done modding it up.

The Lakeline LLC G10 grips and 1911 grip screws combo looks great on your MK9!
I think you did well choosing that design on the screws:)

Thank you for the kind words. Believe it or not, I actually chose those screws for a very specific reason. I like to take pictures of the position of my screws and after every range trip I check them with my pictures to see if the screws had loosened at all (ie. rotated). Those screws have hash marks basically that allow me to more easily index any changes....plus they look cool hahaha.

I just can't seem to shoot anything better than I can shoot good old 3 dot sight systems. I guess I'm just so darn used to it. I've tried the big dots etc and just can't do as well as I can with 3 dots. You'll have to make sure to post up what you think of the Big Dots when you get them on.
