Going through some old threads, I found out about using the K9/P9 plastic base kit to replace the metal ones on the PM9. After trying one out, I'm loving this setup. It gives me just enough pinky hold without losing too much conceal-ability. Thanks so much for letting us newbies know about simple things like this. It made a huge difference to me.

Does anyone have these plastic base pads from their K9/P9 lying around when you changed out to metal ones? I thought I'd ask before heading to the Kahr store.

You know, I thought about swapping with you.
I pocket carry a PM9 and use the metal base plate mag for that. I sometimes carry a K9 or T9 in an OWB pancake holster, and thought about swapping the plastic plates for metal ones. But...upon inspection, the extra tad does not really matter when using a holster, and like you mentioned, that tidbit of extra length does come in handy.
So... guess I'll have to pass on the swap, maybe someone else will have a different experience/opinion.

If you do buy the plastic ones from Kahr, post the metal ones here, I'm sure someone will want them, might buy them myself.
