I was cleaning my new to me CW380, and noticed the wear in the pictures below. Is this normal or common to these guns?

FYI everything functions and all ammo tried cycles without issue.

Is this "chamfered" area cut in through production or is this due to abnormal wear?

This spot almost looks gouged in this area.

Than barrel is very tight to bottom of the opening on the slide.

I can't say for the first picture but it appears machined on purpose. The other two are completely normal and of no concern.

If the barrel hood creates a noticeable burr then it might need to be addressed. That's a normal contact area, they all seem to show a wear pattern there.

The barrel being low is to allow it to cycle. Almost every auto is that way to a degree, the Kahrs seem to be a bit more so, no doubt due to their small size. A lot happening in a very small package.

Picture 2. I smoothed out the underside of the slide and top of the barrel hood with some 600 wet and dry and keep it well lubed with grease and it has not come back after another 500 rounds through it.

Thank you for the replays. My other pistols don't show the same amount of wear on the barrel even after many 100s of more rounds. I will keep my eye on it and keep it oiled.

Not rust. I was not done cleaning and wiping down the gun when I took the pictures.
