New PM9 owner

I bought a used pm9 with Night Sights yesterday. It has serial number VB (2004 I think) so i was concerned to be buying an old one, but I got a pretty good deal. Took it to the range today and it was flawless. 100 rounds of fmj then 20 rounds of hst 124, then 20 rounds of hst 147+p. All went great. The recoil was no better or worse than my Walther PPS 9, which is a bigger gun. My main carry has been a lcp custom 380 in back pocket desantis superfly, but I really wanted to be able to carry a 9mm in my back pocket. This pm9 with a desantis superfly fits in about 50% of my back pockets, and I will be carrying when it wear those pants. Great gun! Thanks.

Where those 124gr HSTs +p? I've been thinking of switching from Gold Dot 124gr +p to HST standard pressure due to recoil.

i get mine online from bonefrog or SG Ammo. They are usually 20 to $25 for a box of 50. The 124 hst +p is for sale at bonefroggunclub.com for 19.90 rig now. I usually buy 5 or 10 at a time to save on shipping. In fact that's such a good price I'm going to buy some more right now.

I highly suggest trying the 147 HST or 150's. I have the 150's and it is sweet shooting in mini 9's

Yes I was a little high, but very consistent, except for the one flyer. +1 for the HST standard pressure with the PM9. Best combination of small carry gun and hollow point defensive round for me; it's the combo that I carry. Great gun, great ammo.
