Picked up a CM9 for Christmas and have shot 250 rounds through it - zero issues. It came very wet in the box, so cleaned it well before shooting and been using PMC 115gr 9mm for range and Speer Gold Dot 147gr HP ammo....working flawless.

I like it so much, I think I am going to go for another CM9 or a PM9 and keep this CM9 more for a travel/car carry. Away from the extra mags, barrel, front sight and more detailed slide imaging - is there much difference between the CM9 and PM9? I've seen the detailed comparison the website with CM and PM series but just wondering if anyone has both and has actually seen reliability or quality differences ?

thanks for your help

The sight options are 10x on the pm9. It's tough to find sights fit the cm9.

Other than the sight options mentioned the CM and PM are the same gun internally. There's more machining and cosmetics on the PM and the PM has the polygonal rifling. Many actually prefer the standard rifling.

I don't think it make a lot of difference myself unless you want to shoot lead bullets.

The sight situation for the CM seems to be improving some as time goes by as well.

If a person is willing to find a machinist to cut a dovetail the sight options are wide open.

Well, any rear sight that fits the new style dovetail on a MK series will fit a CM with the new style dovetail. Front sights for the CM come in black, black with white dot, fiber optic, tritium, and XS Express. Unless I'm missing something, I'm just not seeing 10x more sight options for the MK vs the CM. Please educate me folks.
