So... not a glock fan boy, but I do kinda admire the simplicity. I traded for a G19 gen 3 a few years ago. Came with TFO sights (which I love) and a nice trigger job, close to 1911 nice. Anyway, the grip has never fit my hand.
My fingers are too fat for the grooves, thinking about grinding them down with my dremel. Anyone ever did anything similar? Any gotchas? I don't sell my pistols, so don't care about resale impact.
Any and all responses are welcome.

Do you actually know how much material is there to grind? Seems like it would be an awful lot of grinding.............

Grind them off or buy an XD. Didn't have the nerve to grind my g30s so I traded it after I discovered the xd45 (which had NO groves.) Best move Ive made lately.

Just but a G lock 19 trigger. Easy swap low cost.

Glocktalk forum is a great source for all things Glock.
Did a quick search and found that others have successfully used a dremil to remove the grooves.
You're good to go!

It seems Robar in Arizona offers that option on their grip enhancements as well.

Should be able to kind of feel how much material is there, weather to remove them completely or just open them up a bit for large fingers?

My first concern was if they were hollow but I don't think there's enough there to be hollow and I'm certain they aren't.

Go for it.

I have ground down the back strap on a G21 a LOT to make the grip smaller and was completely successful. One of the officers here is packing it around now days. Put truck bed liner paint on it, nice cushy flexible grip. Ugly but practical.

Sorry, I meant to say Glock 17 trigger. They are a drop in part and are smooth faced.

They can be ground off without any issues. IMHO it's not gonna look pretty unless you dress it up
