So how cold is it!!! Way to cold to go to my unheated indoor range, saw 8 on the old thermometer this morning and hit 25 now going down again. But I’ll get to the range this week even if I have to put matches on my boots

Man, my brother and I went to the range this weekend and I was sweating pretty bad.

Of course, it was a (very nice) indoor range. http://defenderoutdoorsshootingcenter.com/

The folks in the next lane were renting a HK machinegun and the weapons report would run us back out of there at times. Other than that, a really good time.

We're pretty much in a heat wave right now. Got all the way up to the mid 30's today and a little bit of snow actually melted under the clear blue skies. Been getting below zero most nights for the past week with highs in the teens to 20's. So I really appreciate these balmy days!

After tomorrow our temps will be back in the high 60's or low 70's. I guess it's time to retract the tops on my convertibles.

34 this morning. Since we're not acclimated yet for the year, it felt more like 24. By March 1, we'll just shrug off 34 and throw on a sweater.

It's a chilly 4 degrees here in Virginia, heading to a high of 20. Not much snow melt today.

It's been below zero with the wind chill for about a week now..................heading up nort this week, where it's been colder, we'll see........................................don't know about anybody else, but along with insulated boots, insulated coveralls are the deal with us. Allows you to get out in to the coldest weather.

Up in the low 20s now. Of course we are to get 6-8 inches of snow in the next 24 hours. At least it isn't going to get deep or blow.

Go figure; for the last few days we until yesterday, we had overnight lows in the minus teens (not wind chill) and daytime highs in the single digits. Last night it was snowing, and today at about 36 f it is raining a little. Supposed to rain/snow mix tommrrow with a high of 29 f. If it doesn't, I'm heading to the local lake for some ice fishing for kokanee. :)

Phoenix continues to run at the lowest in the high 40s.
It's not exactly what I'd call a brutal winter - LOL!

We had two mornings of temps in the lower 20s, and now.....

You wanna be my neighbor or what?...........................

We live on a big hill and I went down it this morning like the Jamaican Bobsled Team. It was scary. It's a must stop at the bottom with a T intersection and fast moving traffic, fortunately not a lot of traffic but still.

I was able to get her wooooed but it was dicey all the way down. Thought I might need a new set of depends but I was ok.

It'll be 80 degrees in North Texas tomorrow, I already have my shorts and a Tee laid out for work wear in the morning.

That's why my home is Texas!

(never mind that it was 18 degrees four mornings ago... we don't need to talk about it... at all.)
