Interesting, but it's as heavy as a "real" 1911.

You make it sound like that's a bad thing?

The Hudson thing looks plastic, seems heavy for plastic. Even for alloy.

"From its steel frame to its straight-pull trigger to its striker fired design the H9 will feel instantly familiar with any firearms enthusiasts."

Eew! that thing is flat out ugly! It has nothing to go against a all steel 1911!
A glock looks more prettier!

I don't mind the looks. Who knows, maybe it will find a cult following among competition shooters.

Well...I agree it's but ugly, weighs just shy of a full sized 5" 1911, and cost more than a lot of them. So... I'll take a wait and see position.

^^^ Vegas is giving 10-1 odds we never hear of this pistol again... Just sayin'. ;)

Not a 1911 fan, but the looks of a Colt Commander, well, could sway me. That one just doesn't look right. May be a great shooter, but so is my CM45 and P345. Maybe we shall see.

I actually helped a fella from Astoria Oregon race his Hudson Hornet at the Bonneville Salt Flats. He set two new records that year as I recall. I was actually crew on another car but they were good friends.
Guy lived and breathed Hudsons. Visited him once at his home and the shop was full of Hudson motors.

Now that a classic beauty!
They need to rename that fudgly ugly pistol instead of making a mockery out of the real deal!
