Just install new TruGlo sights on my K9. Paid $35 for installation at my local gunsmith. So far I like them, easy to aim and my accuracy has improved.

Sure nice looking wood on those handles. Dark with nice grain. Like the sight picture too, bold and seems easy to pick up.

Any holstering issues? Had some on my glock and it hung up every time I drew my gun

No holstering issues at all. For OWB I use DeSantis Mini Slide which also fits my CZ 83 perfectly and for IWB Comp-Tac Infidel Max.

That may be possible this coming week. Tried two ranges today and booth were packed. Didn't want to wait 2 hours.
Hello -
I would love to know if those sights change the impact vs aim point.
Currently looking for a standard K9, but have already bought the TruGlo sights and SS recoil rod for it.
Was thinking I'd put the new sights on after break-in.
Got to find one first. Looking for a decent price on a new plain Jane SS model.
PS. Thanks to All for the informative posts on this site.

Went to the range today, shot 50 rounds of Winchester 9mm NATO 124 grain FMJ. I am happy with my results. Still working on aiming but the gun is pretty accurate. I am a right handed shooter with left eye dominating (old childhood injury). If I shoot with weak hand I have tendency to shoot right - go figure. Next trip will be with some defensive ammo. Any recommendations?

Just put these on my K9 also. I’ve had them on my PPQ for quite a while and I love them. Ordered a set for my Walther PPS as well. I haven’t been to the range yet, but seems to be no problem with my Stealthgear holster. I got a Fisher Solutions sight pusher to do the work. It was a bit fidgety but not a difficult operation, whole thing took less than 30 minutes.

Not my "favorite" pawn shop - but a local pawn shop has a K9 for $599 - what is a typical and normal used price for one?

I have the same true glow sights on my Glock 19 (I had a grip reduction done that now gives me a 1911 angle), I love them, and have been using a Garrett Industries "Classic Silent Thunder" Holster and have had NO issues. I've been running drills with the holster and it has performed well. They no longer advertise that holster but will make one for you if you request it! I wear mine OWB but I also have the hardware to convert it to IWB. If possible I prefer making clothing choices that allow OWB carry…..of course that's not always possible.
I would show you some pictures but I'm dysfunctional with a camera….so sorry.

Man OP, those are sure bright sights! Does anyone make some sort of Tritium sights that are like Kahr's "dot the I" pattern? I have found that I can line up my sights faster with Kahr's version, over the standard "three dot" sights. Just curious.

They're called XS Big Dots. I have them on my HK. Makes going from my MK to the HK a breeze as far as sighting goes. I also prefer the dot the eye over 3 dots.

You can also go XS standard dot which is actually much closer to the Kahr.
I too have the XS Big Dots on my PM45 and a couple 1911's. I like the standard dot on the 1911's, but small concealed carry guns I like the big dot. Real fast and easy to focus on.

Hi, great looking sights! As an fyi, about the same amount that you paid for sight installation, you can pick up a sight pusher tool on ebay or amazon. Then there's like 11 videos on the Utubs that will show you how to install them. I went the same route with a gun a few years back before I saw the tools for sale..next gun I did it all by me onezies.

I just put a set of these TFOs on my pm40 today, looking forward to shooting it(was pouring rain here today)! I like the brightness, seem really fast to acquire. Used a $40 NcStar pusher to do the kahr and 2 glocks today, took maybe an hour for all 3...
