Tripp is incredible :D
U.S.A. family business that takes business seriously :Amflag2:
Bought the wrong size mags for my new DW V-Bob 1911.
Lots of emails with immediate responses and simple instructions from the actual Tripp family!
Tripp received my returned mags this morning and shipped the replacements in the afternoon - OMG!

It's good to see a company who cares. I'm sure they appreciate your endorsement. I will remember this and check them out. Thanks.

The polished stainless on Tripp Magazines will look great with your new pistol.
I splurged and bought a Melonite coated one for my CCO, so everything would be dark. Harrison Custom (Custom 1911 shop) is the only place I've seen the Melonite versions.

They aren't at SHOT. I wanted to meet with them. Chip McCormick was at his booth though, and Justin Moon was at the Kahr booth.

One of the family, responding to my email, told me they live out in the boonies in Texas.
Sending USP/FEDEX gets there fast, but USPS the have to drive to go get it LOL!
Actually Tripp family responded to Emails and received/shipped the returned/exchanged mags.
I get everything from them at lightning speed (The replacement mags arrive Tomorrow!).
They seem to be and stay at home Taking Care of Business.
That's how they roll :Amflag2:

Just finished 300 rounds FMJs and 200 HST JHPs with the V-Bob.
Used 3 Tripp Cobras, 3 Wilson Combat ETM HD/+Ps and 2 DW (Checkmate).
ZERO FTF/FTE with any of them.
Purely my personal observation.
The Tripp Cobras just drip quality :D

I have always had great trouble free success with Kimber mags and they are inexpensive.

Did you hit anything?
LOL, I'm a Florida boy and this freaking Arizona winter is killing me
Had a leather jacket on and my hands were going numb in the cold.
Had trouble even loading mags.
Too cold for any real precision shooting.
I just danced cans across the desert floor - LOL!
Still, the gun only didn't fire once.
Seemed to stop half cocked??? Maybe I hit the safety or something?
I have to believe I induced the problem myself.
It's been a long time since I've shot a 1911.
And I was freezing and getting fatigued.
The first 300 ball ammo ran smooth as butter including rapid fire.
Federal HSTs the same.
Really like the 25 LPI and the new wood grips.
It's a keeper :D
