This happened over the weekend at a local gun show where my son and I spent the biggest part of our Saturday (and our wallets). This is a pretty big semi-annual show that's only about 25 minutes from the house.

I never even thought that vendors kept firearms at the venue overnight. What kind of security is provided? And who is to say whoever the security folks were weren't involved? Sounds like a mess even before this theft to me.

Sounds at first like an inside job, or at least inside help.

I worked at an plael computer facility where phones were refurbished. It was determined that a few phones were not accounted for. Turned out the janitor was throwing them over a fence and picking then up after work.

It has happened here at gun shows. Usually taken during the day with people around. I guess you can't trust anyone anymore
