Yesterday I scored a BNIB CW9 at a an LGS going out of business auction for $300.

What was weird is that some guns were going for below market value, some way below and others were going for way more than MSRP. It was obvious that most of the bidders had NO idea of the price/value of what they were bidding on.

Yes in this climate LGS stores closing! Since the election business at the store I work at has dropped 50%. Nobody is in a hurry to buy now that Trump is in office. I am sure if the election went the other way there would be a line every morning!

I went to one today, and spotted something intriguing - a Charter Arms .22LR 4" revolver. Kinda liked it. However, the price tag had it $40 OVER MSRP. I asked if that was flexible and he said not very much.

Maybe they don't quite get that supply and demand thing.

But I'd call this a lull. The War on Trump is just ramping up.

Same SLOW down in my area. LGS's without a range are hurting right now. Even Silencerco is laying off staff as folks are waiting on the HPA to pass.
