The Dead Cow Lecture...a Life Lesson.

DONT TRY THIS AT HOME!


First-year students at the Purdue School of Veterinarian Medicine were
attending their first anatomy class with a real dead cow. They all
gathered around the surgery table with the body covered with a white
sheet.

The professor started the class by telling them, "In Veterinary
medicine it is necessary to have two important qualities as a doctor.
The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving an
animal’s body." For an example, the professor pulled back the sheet,
stuck his finger in the butt of the cow, withdrew it, and stuck his
finger in his mouth. "Go ahead and do the same thing," he told his
students.

The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes, but
eventually took turns sticking a finger in the butt of the dead cow
and, sucked on it.......followed by assorted gagging, retching and
spitting, etc.

When everyone had finished wiping their faces, the Professor looked at
them and said, "The second most important quality is observation. I
stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger. Now learn to
pay attention. Life is tough but it's even tougher if you're stupid."

Dad was in the medical corps in WWII. They did the same thing with urine tests for sugar.

Had a buddy growing up...........................he ended up going to AG school, mainly because he grew up on a farm. He ended up working for ABS(American Breeding Society) going around doing what was mentioned here concerning arms up cow's butt holes. Inseminating cows for a living, making $35 a cow. Some days he did as many as 60 in a day. No fooling around. Good denaro for the 70's.............:D

Thelma's father thinks a bit then says "No, I don't think God would get mad. Who do you want to give a valentine to?”

"Why them," her father asks in shock?

"Well," she says, "I thought that if a little American Jewish girl could have enough love to give them a valentine, they might start to think that maybe we're not all bad, and maybe start loving people a little bit. And if other kids saw what I did and then they sent valentines to them, they'd love everyone a lot. And then they'd start going all over the place telling everyone how much they loved them and how they didn't hate anyone anymore.”

Her father's heart swells and he looks at his daughter with new found pride. "Thelma, that's the most wonderful thing I've ever heard. ”

"I know," Thelma says, "and once that gets them out in the open, the Marines could blow the sh*t out of them."

A Police Officer was patrolling late at night off the main highway.









At nearly midnight, he sees a couple in a car, on Lovers' Lane, with the
interior light brightly glowing. He carefully approaches the car to get a closer look.



Then he sees a young man behind the wheel, reading a computer magazine.
He immediately notices a young woman in the rear seat, filing her fingernails.
Puzzled by this surprising situation, the Officer walks to the car and gently
raps on the driver's window.

The young man lowers his window. "Uh, yes, Officer?"
The trooper asks: "What are you doing?”
The young man says: "Well, Officer, I'm reading a magazine."
Pointing towards the young woman in the back seat the Officer says: "And,
her, what is she doing?"
The young man shrugs: "Sir, I believe she's filing her fingernails."

Now, the trooper is totally confused. A young couple, alone, in a car, at night
in Lover's Lane and nothing obscene is happening!

The trooper asks: "What's your age, young man?"
The young man says: "I'm 22, sir."
The trooper asks: "And her, what's her age?"
The young man looks at his watch and replies: "She'll be 18 in 11 minutes.”

We don't got no cool places to shoot like Greg does, we do have a prison really close but it's still in full operation and you DON'T want to go there. Alfonse is just the other side of the hill and he does have a cool place to shoot and it's a vacation paradise.
Big huge lake, nice warm weather (in the summer time that is, now, not so much).

All that being said I'll be very very sad if you was in the neighborhood and we didn't get to meet up for a bit.

I've been to that prison Bawanna. They used to (maybe still do) packaging and such. Back when I had a company that sold stuff to Costco, I used to have product shrink wrapped there. It isn't really much fun to visit.

It would be cool to have visitors from Kahrtalk come by. If you had a bit more time on your vacations, you could hang here a spell and take in some of the local sights. That would be great!!

I used to know a guy that taught industrial sewing up there for years. He always wanted to take me inside but I never did, never been in the place. I have been to the shooting range (LE Only) on the prison grounds but never inside.

I think we just need to make your place a destination rather than a stop over. In my youth we used to ride our motorcycles over and spend the weekend at the state park. Did it several weekends over the summers.
We'll see if we can pull that off.

I have to be in Phoenix for Doctor stuff on Wednesday and we have some distant relatives there so we will be camping at the "Ben Avery Shooting Range" for two weeks. We camped there a couple of years ago and it's great, cheap camping, and lots of shooting! While there, at a minimum we are going to visit robar, and the CZ custom shop. I better hang onto my wallet.

There is a medical distinction between Guts andBalls. We've heard colleagues referring to people with Guts, or with Balls. Do they, however, know the difference between them?

Here's the official distinction; straight from theBritish Medical Journal:
Volume 323; page 295.

GUTS - Is arriving home late, after a night out with the lads, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the Guts to ask:"Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere? "

BALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the lads, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the butt and having the Balls to say: "You're next, Chubby"

I trust this clears up any confusion.

Medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome; both are fatal.
