Morning ya'll.
Had the CW40 for a while now. Was referred to this site by Kahr Customer Service when I asked about a lube diagram, which I thought would have been included in the paperwork that comes with a pistol.
Well, I did buy it used, but owners manual was with it.
It went back to the factory asap as it would not eject a live round and after I disassembled it, cleaned it and re-assembled it the slide locked back after every shot. The last is probly my fault.
Kahr shipped me a FedEx shipping label, I sent the pistol off and three weeks later it was back. no problems with customer service.
At the range yesterday I noticed the factory mag base plate is broken.
Guess I'll have to order two metal ones from Kahr next payday unless anyone makes better ones.

CF:

Welcome, the lubrication points, if you have not already found them, are at http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?14750-Kahr-Lube-Diagram.

I can't help you with your other issues, but someone will be along soon with some answers for you I'm sure.

CF,
Welcome to the forums :)
Here's an alternative source for base plates that fit Kahr magazines: https://lakelinellc.com/product-category/kahr-pistol-accessories/magazine-parts-accessories/

Greg,
Thanks for the link but those are 3D printed polymer, I was looking for steel.
The Kahr Arms website shows metal for the 9mm mags but not the mags for the CW40. I have also seen a note that the base plates for the 9mm will work on the CW40 mags. Anyone confirm this??
