Bought a new CM9 from Fleet Farm in Wisconsin in december of 2016. I had to order a replacement spring assembly as my retaining nut fell off. When i called Kahr to order the new assembly i gave them my serial number and my gun was manufactured in the middle of 2013, almost 3.5 years before i bought it. Is this unusual? The gun was unused but certainly not new. If Kahr had made any improvements in those 3 years i don't think i would be a happy camper now. Not Kahr's fault but i believe Fleet Farm gets their guns from a distributor. Thoughts?

All shops with the exception of a few who were grandfathered in get their guns from a distributor.

I thought this was a federal thing but it may be just a state deal.

I don't recall any significant changes from 2013.

I think I got the same. Picked up a cm9 with older mag follower, I was under the impression they changed.

I got mine at Gander, and I dont think they move alot of Kahrs, the guys who work there are clueless, plus Kahr does themselves no good with their magazine/slingshot procedures. No one reads the manuals or is a first time gun owner.

Bought mine in 2014 and am not aware of any major changes. I did read the manual about sling not slingshoting it. As I am quite obnoxious I've always done it anyway. Never a single problem.
