I have been having FTF with my CW40. Found a thread on the mod to the extractor for the CW40 and 380. Read thread, watched video, can't find it again.
While it looks simple enough, I am no machinist and it is a very little piece of metal to begin with.
Does anyone know of a smith who performs this mod?
If so could I just ship the slide or would you want the entire pistol?
Thanks for looking.

Ah I just did this to my CW380. Took a bit off the extractor rod and cycling perfectly now. It was having some trouble with critical defense ammo but cycled ball just fine. With a file a caliper and a pair of pliers or a vice it's pretty easy to do. Watch for flying springs of course! http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?18612-Extractor-pin-mod-solved-slide-issue

Some people who have sent in their 380s reported that Kahr 'updated' the rear extractor pin. I don't recall ever reading if anyone inquired what the difference was, After all it's just a pin. I would just shorten the rear pin before I start filing on the actual extractor. I did both, but must have weakened the extractor because it broke after several hundred rounds. The pistol works great with just the shortened rear pin.
