My question is how can I tell by looks if the followers are old style or new style for the 8 rnd magazines? (K920G )

! Also I have read many posts here on modifying the followers but not always did it reference if they were going to mod either the original or new style followers, any help on this?

2. There many references to a follower that we can buy as a replacement ( I don't recall the name of the Company), what is the name or website of the Co?

3. Has the OEM follower issue been resolved with the new one or does that cause issues as well for some users?

I don't plan on modifying anything till there is a obvious issue and I get to the range and get the 200 plus Rnds down range.

Any help is appreciated and this information is scattered about with the search feature only helping some..

Thanks Dan

Welcome. Great firearm. You'll love it. The only problem I ever had with mine was a broken follower. The gun still ran even with it broken. To fix it I shaved back the very end of the tang on the barrel about .025". No problems at all since, it just keeps running. I can't answer any of your 8 rd mag questions. I've only ever used the 6 rd. Lakeline's website is lakelinellc.com. I've only heard good things.

Why buy a small conceal gun and then add another inch and a half of magazine? Wouldn't carrying an extra mag do the job and still keep the gun small?

welcome dano,

I'm with dustnchips. I carry the six rounder to keep it small and light. But I have extended mags for backups. I really don't care what they look like since they are backups. Maybe that will work for you too?

P.S. I have Lakeline followers in my 9mm mags. They are slick.

The 8 rnd mags are only for spare and range mags not for primary carry mags. That would be stupid.

Welcome justdano. You're going to love the cm9.

As mentioned above lakeline makes a follower that works well and I believe helps any feed issues if you have any with extended mags. I would imagine that you will have no problems with the 6 round mags.
