I plan on upgrading the sights on my new CW9 and at first was going w/the tritium night sights offered at Kahr's website for $80.
However, I noticed fiber optic sights are offered as well which leads to my question:
What advantages (if any) do fiber optics have over tritium?
Thx!...

Depends on how much you plan to use it for night firing, or if for home defense. If for either of these then go with the Night Sights, but if you are going to carry during the day and for general plinking at the range go with the Fiber Optics.

Here's a site with front sights only
www.dawsonprecision.com SIGHTS FRONT:Kahr Front Sights Category (http://www.dawsonprecision.com/CategoryProductList.jsp?cat=SIGHTS+FRONT:Kahr+Fron t+Sights)
Lots of choices here for front and rear or fronts only...look around.
The fiber optic fronts may be plastic though I can't tell. ($39)
Just sayin'

IMHOP, One other consideration is how much abuse and daily use the gun receives, because carry guns get banged around more than range guns, and the fiber sights are more prone to breakage, tritium may be the better choice for a CCW.
