Does anyone make a pinky extension for the seven round mag? I see pearce has them for the 6 but no 7. The stock Kahr serves its purpose, but would be nice if it was designed more like the Pearce imo. Thanks.

Just curious, I dont have a 7 round mag, but it looks like the pinky fits on the grip as is? Maybe thats why they dont make the pinky extension?

Makes it a bit more cumbersome to conceal. I traded my 7 rounder's for 6. Extra bullet makes no nevermind to me. Doesn't make any difference at the range either. I don't understand why someone purchases a small firearm, then wants it to carry more ammo. I own different firearms for that.....................just me:p

^ agree.
I took the pinky extension off my 6 round magazine. Not only did it pinch my fingers, but I dont need it.
Also, the 7 round mag looks too long, thus eliminating the reason I purchased the gun in the first place.

I see no there`s no love for the 7 round mag. My reasoning is for my young son to practice with. The "pinky curve" ala pearce, would give him something more to lock onto.

" Locking onto" a magazine extension has caused operation problems when pressing on the extension in Kahr firearms.................................

Yeah, I should of said something more to "grip" onto, but I gotcha. These problems are the majority using the 7 round mag?

People tend to like to use it as their pinkie cushion, which moves the bottom of the mag one way or another. I think that many issues with the 7 rd. mags were due to this. I purchased my Kahr to carry concealed, so I have no use for a 7 rd. magazine. Traded 7 rd. for 6 rd. and didn't have to spend any denaro on mags. As far as practice, an extra round wasn't an issue either. Plus, I always like to practice with a firearm exactly as I carry it. I don't think there were a lot of issues with the 7 rounder's.
The OP didn't mention it but I assume he's referring to a .380 mag. My P380 came with one 6-round and one 7-round mag, but honestly I wish it had come with two 6-rounders instead. I save the longer mag for range sessions. While I've never had any functioning issues unique to my extended mag I agree it serves no useful purpose on what is supposed to be an ultra-concealable hideout pistol.

I carry my PM9 with the 7 round extended magazine. No function/cycling problems at all after 3,000+ rounds that way. I like having the extra round to carry 7+1, with the extra usable grip length while keeping the gun as minimalistic as possible with 9mm 124 gr hollow points. A great solution for summer carry in Georgia.

My bad, yes, for the P380. Also, just intending to use the 7 round for my son to target practice with. Thanks fellas.
I think Mag-guts makes a conversion kit to make a 6 rounder hold 7 rounds and keep the same profile for the 380 mags.
I'm pestering them to do the same with the 9 and 45 caliber mags.

My P9 comes with 7 round magazines. I don't have large hands so there's just enough room on the grip for my "pinkie". I agree with those who have bought their Kahr for concealment that extending the magazine kind of defeats that purpose.
