Me old power chair died a painful death a couple weeks ago. Two weeks of remembering all the things I can't do in a manual chair. I feared the worst, would have to deal with Labor insurance, get prescriptions, deal with poor and few and far between providers and be without for months.
Well no more. I got extremely lucky and found this gem, exactly like my old chair except hardly used at all. Mint, like brand new. Cash, no state, no insurance, no dealers.
And the best part, instead of 2500 or 3000 bucks, 340 in cash and half a tank of gas in the van put this baby in my garage!
The new ride.

And it's predecessor who I will be trying to bring back to life. As a backup or perhaps a chair for the dirt so I don't mess up the shiny new wheels. They don't make them like they used to. We live in an age of junk.

I'm just tickled. More valuable than a car to me. I can drink and travel at the same time. Carry stuff without dropping 6 times between point A and B.
I can push unbelievable amounts of stuff, just have to be careful to keep the toes out of harms way, broke them a few times in my carelessness.
I'm one happy camper.

Damn, forgot about HarryLee. Perhaps a Harley Motor with a removable snow plow, tracks and maybe even a mower attachment.
That's next on the list, a riding mower. This would kill two birds with one stone as it were.

The old one I'd throw the tupperware out in the driveway and spray paint away. It's been many colors.
I wish it was blue as the firemen give me crap about being fire man red but I don't see them a whole lot lately so I'll be ok.
I'm seriously thinking of just running my old chair tupperware for working, and save the shiny red for Sunday go to meetin and such.

BINGO! I'm seeing Harrylee incorporate a snow blower/ tiller for a garden, and gun turret where the empty brass is caught, cleaned, reloaded, and fed back into the gun. All you need to do is pull the trigger.
Congrats on the fine new ride by the way.

Colonel,
The arm angles are adjustable with a bolt under the arm rest.
The 1120 was aka the "Curb Climber" at one time I was selling 125 of these a month!
They were as we discussed the best Jazzy EVER made Shortly thereafter Medicarel slashed the reimbursements and the Pride Mobility company did likewise to the quality...Currently to get approval for one today is damn near impossible and VERY few dealers will accept anything less than CASH.
I'm glad you found this one. I strongly suggest you continue to keep your eyes open for another as they are getting rarer than a colt python unfired.

Yeah I adjusted the arms down the minute I got home, real easy. Gets them down out of my line of fire. Now I can shoot and move again!
This one must be slightly newer version than the old. The motors don't seem quite as large, the seating is different but in a good way. The old one when it worked the seat would go up and down, this one is fixed but it doesn't wiggle around so much.
I'm very happy with it.
Still want to figure out the old one, track down a newer style controller and whatever I need to make that work.
I might just send it to Harrylee and tell him to have fun with it. I'm sure he could work wonders with it. Maybe even install a cup holder, that pops out whenever it thinks I'm thirsty.

Hmm, did I cross over any lines there?

This new seat has back angle adjustably but not constant like the old one. you can remove the old seat cushions and get a *solid seat/solid back for a soho, jay etc cushion and a back insert made to fit YOU verses the one size fits all standard issue stuff.
* this stuff will cost more than you paid for the new chair....
You will NOT be able to change the controller out as they are "matched" and the plugs will not be compatible.
That ole chair is only good for parts. Period! not worth investing a dime into it!
I am good friends with the Owners at Pride (Used to go Mako Fishing every September with them off Mantauk) had a 20' + Great White mosey right up to the boat, investigated and slowly swam off.... I had my knife ready....... to cut any line it may have bit on!

Dragging this thread back from the brink for the OG poster...
Oh wait! He was the guy leading the charge to the gutter, with a big grin.
Anyway, I have a different brand/design scoot at work, they made it mandatory for my return to work after being gimped. The factory building is more than a mile long and over a quarter mile wide, so wheels for gimps are mandatory. I picked up mine up cheap (son-in-law's family) and soon was an expert at repair and rehab of it. I now help others with their scoots and chairs as I can. I use Monster for my parts and recommend them often. They always have the parts I need and they a cheaper than most (my favorite thing about them). If you have not tried them here is the link, https://www.monsterscooterparts.com/mobility they carry a large bunch of Jazzy parts.
Good luck with the rebuild and congrats on the new set of wheels sir.

a real nice candy apple red, but thats gonna clash with your stilettos and bullets! as your new fashion consultant i strongly suggest a more purpley theme!
by the way, how much is this fashion consultant position worth? how much should i pay?????????

Well I guess the usual monthly and found I reckon.
The worst part is the fireman, they think I want to convert or something. I don't use this at work or haven't before so they rarely see it so perhaps I'll be ok.

OK Boss the sparks where flying around the shop today, dropped a Harley Panhead in for ya, it was a toss up between a Panhead or a Knucklehead but didn’t think you’d like sitting on a Knucklehead!! My lovely assistant has to hit the road but I think downtownv could come over and help. A work in progress indeed, might need to put wheelie bars on this when done. That’s the Update for now!

I had a siren on one of my chairs for awhile. I'll probably get another one if I start using a power chair for work.
Easier to hit the button when your not turning the wheels.
