Went to the range yesterday with my parents. They are not experienced shooters. Both of them are in their early 60s. Both my PM9 and my parents handled it really well. No malfunctions on either end.

I also tossed my Otis CLP I'd been using to clean for Mil-Comm MC-25 cleaner and TW-25b light grease. I'm really happy with this cleaner/grease combo. I like the light grease better than oil. It stays where you put it and doesn't run all through your gun.

I'm thinking of picking up the Mil-Tech MC2500 oil (same chemical makeup as the light grease but different viscocity) to use maybe once every 5 or so times I clean. The thought being that it'll run better down into the hard to lubricate places and lube up where the grease won't reach.

Thoughts?

I use it also and it is great stuff, I seem to waste alot of it more than the TW25 grease though, but a drop goes a long way to.

I really like NECO moly-slide. It is a Molybdenum based paste (like grease) that can withstand extremely high temp and pressure. It does not attract dirt and will continue to provide both lubrication and abrasion protection even if the coating is so thin that it is not visible with the naked eye.

Some guns, like my Ruger MK II's I use dry moly lubricants because the ammo is so dirty in the rimfire world.
