Hadn't heard about this one. Sounds like it wasn't his primary residence and somebody was just squatting in the house.

While our main problem is our close proximity to California, and all our high level state reps and city officials being (different), this guy messed up, if in fact the media actually reported what really happened. That's always the first big question in any case like this.

Belfair is pretty far from me so I don't really have any good information. I couldn't help anyhow, I'm just a lowly office puke working with Violets, most morbidly obese.

If the story is right, he messed up. Could have called the cops while he was back at the main house.
A lot of people don't think you need any type of training to use/carry a gun. I agree with them, but....
it can lead to regular folks unknowingly breaking the law and going away for a long time.

The major thing they cover during the carry classes, is when it's okay to shoot. In SC you can only shoot someone if your life or other lives are in danger.

Doesn't sound like this guy was in much danger.
